My Paintings

My paintings explore the essence of what I feel and experience through all my senses, translating emotions, moments, and places into visual language. They are deeply minimal, where empty space holds as much significance as each mark. This space invites imagination, reflection, and connection, echoing the Japanese concept of Ma—the space between, where meaning emerges.

I work with ink, watercolor, and water on paper, letting the fluidity of the materials mirror life’s unpredictability. Embracing the philosophy of wabi-sabi, I find beauty in imperfection and impermanence—not only in the organic flow of the mediums but also in the unique marks made by my tools. Nibs, brushes, palette knives, feathers, sticks, and even my fingers each contribute their own essence, creating shapes that balance intention and intuition.

Often, the deeper meaning of a piece reveals itself only after its completion, as the intuitive process uncovers insights that were not consciously planned.
