BOOKS

I love books, so to create storybooks combining my pictures, poems and prose with my own choice of book-design and materials for a very personal look into my realm was an easy decision. While the decision was easily made, the execution of my first book took many months of dedication, passion and learning.

My books are completely self-made, starting with the idea, the creation and selection of pictures, the writing of poetry and prose, the printing, bookbinding and finally the publishing.

All my books come as limited editions, signed and numbered – we all move on and develop and I would rather not make the same book for years to come. 😉

Dreamwalking – The Forest (my first book) (no longer available)

This book was made in 2 limited editions one on Mitsumata paper (see video – deluxe edition) and one on Kozo paper (dream edition).

Transcending  – The story of a beautiful death (5 of 13 available)

The idea for this book was there from the beginning. All elements from the use of one single roll of expired Ektachrome film, over developing in my own darkroom with all the possibilities and chances for failure, to the used materials and book design were deliberate to support the story and the feeling behind it. This book is even more personal than my first one, so I chose to also write the text by hand.

All papers used are made by the Japanese company Awagami who produce the most beautiful, high-quality, archival fine art papers.
The images are printed on thin Kozo paper, the soft cover is made of Shin Inbe and the cover card printed on thick Bamboo paper.
All images are printed on my Epson SureColor P9000 printer using Epson ultra chrome HDX colours.

This book comes in a limited first edition of 13 (plus 2 Artist Proofs). Each book comes with a unique cover image so you will not receive the one shown in the video.

Please select your shipping option from the drop-down menu. I recommend insured shipment as the risk of loss or damage is otherwise with you.
